Annual Letter from the TLT President

Once again we are fortunate to report the successful preservation of farmland in Tiverton.

In 2010 the TLT was part of a consortium of public and private organizations that helped purchase the development rights for 140 acres of Ferolbink Farm. Major partners for the purchase from owner Jason ‘Pete’ Peckham were the US Department of Agriculture, the US Department of Fish and Wildlife, Rhode Island's Department of Environmental Management, the Nature Conservancy, the Little Compton Agricultural Conservancy Trust, the Champlin Foundation, and the Tiverton Land Trust.
