The Tiverton Land Trust is planning two family walks at Pardon Gray Preserve on Saturday, October 18th. The first walk, beginning at 9:30 a.m., is for families with children under the age of five.

familyWalk1familyWalk2This easy walk will be along field trails with a short visit to the vernal pool area in the woods and a visit with the grazing cattle. We will bring along magnifying glasses and binoculars to get a closer look at Mother Nature. This walk will last about 45 minutes. A second walk, beginning at 11:00 a.m., is for individuals and families with children over the age of five. After walking along the field trails, we will head into the woods for walks along the Cemetery and Ridge Trails stopping along the way to closely examine features along the trails. This loop walk will take about 75 minutes. Wear comfortable footwear and bring along water if you wish. Both hikes will start and end at the stone kiosk on Main Road.
