"The marsh, to him who enters it in a receptive mood, holds, besides mosquitoes and stagnation, melody, the mystery of unknown waters, and the sweetness of Nature undisturbed by man."

~ Charles William Beebe (1877-1962),

Join the Tiverton Land Trust on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. for a full moon walk along the trails of Pardon Gray Preserve on Main Road in Tiverton. A clear sky should enable us to hike without lights. You might still bring a flashlightmoon lg or headlamp in case we encounter a bumpy section of the trail. We will bring along some audio devices to see if we can contact an owl or two. The hike is along easy to navigate trails and should take about 45 minutes to one hour. It is suitable for children ages five and older. For early arrivals, we will have hot chocolate served around a campfire at the kiosk on Main Road. Wear sturdy shoes or boots. If there is heavy snow on the ground, the program will be rescheduled due to lack of parking space. For further information, please call 401-816-0126.
